Post 1955 and Miscellaneous
The Minor League Baseball Encyclopedia (1994) stated that Lincoln Nebraska was a member of the Kansas State League in 1905. If you look at their frachises by city or franchises by league, both indicate that Lincoln Nebraska was in the KSL in 1905
After searcing the local Lincoln newspaper for 1905 I was not able to find any information about Lincoln Nebraska in the KSL.
I received information from M. Hickley that indicated that the Lincoln in the KSL in 1905 was Lincoln Center Kansas not Lincoln Nebraska. Thanks to M. Hickley for this correction/information.
Lincoln was in the III (three eye) (class "B") league in 1959-1961.
Lincoln is in the Northern League. (2001-present)
Omaha Cardinals American Association (AAA) 1955-1959.
Omaha Dodgers American Association (AAA) 1961-1962.
Omaha Royals American Association (AAA) 1969-1997.
